1. All transfer fees are non-refundable and payable at the beginning of the transaction.
2. Gun sales between private parties now require an FFL to satisfy all background requirements.
3. If you wish buy a gun online and have it transferred to Concept Arms, you can have the dealer email us at info@conceptarms requesting our FFL OR email us a copy of your online receipt to info@conceptarms.com and we will forward our FFL to the online dealer.
4. We will typically respond to the email within a few hours.
5. NOTE: when we receive the firearm, the online dealer should have included the name and phone number of the person who will be picking up the firearm. Sometimes, especially when purchasing from pawn shops, auctions and individuals, this step is forgotten, so if you don't hear from us after you have tracked the shipping, feel fee to give us a call.
1. When you pick up the transfer, you will be required to complete a Form 4473.
3. If you have a valid SC Concealed Weapons Permit, you will not require a federal background check.
*Your CWP must not be expired and must have the same address as your ID.
4. If you do not have a valid CWP, we will run a NICS background check (National Instant Criminal Background Check System.)
5. The results of a NICS check can be either PROCEED, DELAY, or DENIED
*If it is PROCEED, you can take the firearm home on the same day.
*If it is DELAYED, you can pick it up in 3 business days, or whenever we get the approval.
*If it is DENIED, you cannot purchase the firearm. We will issue a refund check after deducting a 15% restocking fee. We do not refund in cash.
1. Both the seller and the buyer should come to the shop.

3. Background check will be performed for the buyer.
4. Fee is $50 (discounted to $25 for each xfer: in and out.
1. The FFL will ship the firearm to us with the customers contact information.

4. When customer picks up the gun, they will be required to complete a form 4473, and satisfy the background requirements.
5. Our incoming transfer fee is $35 per firearm payable at the time we begin the process of transferring the firearm to you.
NFA items would be out of network suppressors, SBR's, SBS's & Transferrable Machine Guns
1. If you make your purchase thru Silencer Shop, there is no transfer fee.
2. If you are purchasing a suppressor somewhere other than Silencer Shop, it comes to us as "out of network" inventory and requires additional steps and fees.
*Out of Network Suppressor Transfer fee: $150
*Out of Network SBR's or SBS's Transfer Fee: $150
*Transferrable Machine Gun transfer fee is the standard $150
PLUS $350 (to cover the insurance rider for such high value guns to be held for an indeterminate amount of time while awaiting tax stamp approval)
1. Be sure to bring shipping/FFL information for where you want the gun(s) sent, along with the name/contact information for the recipient.
2. We will check the gun(s) into our inventory.
3. We will then package and ship the firearm(s) to the FFL.
4. Shipping usually runs $65 - $150, however the final shipping price is determined by the weight, size and destination.
5. Outgoing transfer fee is $35 plus shipping
Guns in South Carolina are NOT “registered” in someone’s name.
For example, if you are given a gun from a friend or relative within our state, you do not have to go to an FFL gun store to have the gun registered in your name - the transaction is over.
*Each state has their own rules on the registration of firearms.
